METAL BUILDINGS

Being in business since 1986 Seacoast Crane & Building Co., Inc. has completed work on thousands of metal building projects in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Vermont.  Our seasoned staff is trained and experienced in virtually every aspect of metal building construction from start to finish. Along with our own fleet of construction equipment (40 ton crane, construction forklift, scissor lifts, tractors, trailers, ect.) we are able to complete our projects on time and on budget without relying on subcontractors or rental companies.  Since 1992 we have been an authorized dealer for Corle Building Systems.  We also are independent erectors of all other building systems including; American Building Systems, Star Building Systems, A&S Building Systems, Butler, Kirby, Nucor, Varco Pruden, Metallic, Chief Buildings,  Parkline, and others.

REPAIRS, MAINTENANCE, AND RENOVATIONS

Planned, routine maintenance is the best way to extend the life of your metal building, roofing, siding, and components.  It also helps prevent unexpected downtime, avoids further damage, and can save you money.  We offer inspections services for all aspects of your building including; roof inspections, siding inspections, primary and secondary steel inspections, bolted and welded connections, insulation, and components (roof boots, curbs, windows, doors, ect).  Unfortunately not all damage can be prevented and emergency and unplanned repairs are sometimes necessary.  From a small leak to major repairs we have the expertise to get your building back into shape.

RETRO FIT METAL ROOFING & METAL SIDING

There are a number of reasons people decide to replace there metal roofing and siding (age, leaks, repairs are not cost effective, aesthetics, ect.).  "Removal and replacement" of your roofing or siding, although sometimes is the best option, does have its drawbacks.  For a business that is up and running removal of your existing roof or walls can expose your business to wind, rain, snow, dust, and other contaminants.  It also can create a substantial amount of downtime which can cost you money.  Fortunately if "removal and replacement" is not an attractive option there are a number of retro fit solutions that can keep your existing siding, roofing, and insulation in place while new siding, roofing, and additional insulation are installed. Other than keeping the interior of your building functional during the construction process there are a number of benefits to the retro-fit solution;

  • Saves you money on minimizing demolition and disposal fees.
  • Existing insulation remains in place allowing you to add insulation and improve energy performance.
  • Provides a "thermal break" between new and old roof or walls.
  • Reinforces existing secondary structural members.
  • Allows for design changes (aesthetics, loading, roof pitch).
  • Faster construction schedule.
